"We went to Platillos for a friend's birthday party. There were unexpectedly 22 of us rather than the booked 20 but the staff quickly and helpfully found us additional space. We had the set menu for £18 which was excellent value and the food was great. I was especially impressed as I have some food allergies and they were able to cater for me off the set menu and with a comprehensive guide as to what I could and couldn't eat. All the food was freshly cooked, really tasty and served with a smile. It's a busy bar downstairs but nice, quieter atmosphere upstairs. Attractive decor too. Highly recommend, esp for a party. We all paid £30 in total for loads of tapas and plenty of wine and cocktails, and service too. Bargain!"

"I came with my wife and 15 friends to celebrate my wife's 30th birthday and she had a wonderful time. We had a cocktail making lesson which everyone really enjoyed and we were looked after by a brilliant member of staff called Katie. She was very friendly and very attentive and helped the night go with a bang. I would highly recommend Platillos if you are looking for a fun but also grown up venue with a lively atmosphere. Platillos is one of only 2 places in Sheffield I would go for cocktails as they really know their stuff. Also, try the Patron tequila, it is wonderful stuff!"
